Our story
The name on the shaker
A blend with a name on it
I’m Kirby Woodham, and Kirby’s Delites is the name on my seasoning. The product is 14-n-1 Seasoning: fourteen different herbs and spices brought together in one simple mixture. I make it for the way people really cook — reaching into the cabinet for something dependable, shaking it over what is already in the pan, and getting on with the meal.
In 2017, our original website described Kirby’s Delites as a Christian enterprise and shared that the Original blend had taken seven years to develop. The purpose was rooted in everyday cooking: helping people make flavorful meals and enjoy time together around the family table. That history still gives the name on the shaker its meaning. The seasoning was never about making dinner complicated. It was about giving the cook one dependable mixture with room to make the meal their own.
There are three ways to meet the blend. Original brings a balanced, all-purpose flavor. No Salt offers great taste without added salt. Hot brings a spicy kick for heat lovers. Dinner changes from one night to the next, and the choice should be easy. Some nights call for a steady, familiar finish. Some call for room to decide how much salt belongs in the rest of the dish. Some need a little more heat. Three jars give the cook those directions without asking for a shelf full of bottles.
The seasoning is made to move through a real kitchen. Use it on beef, chicken, seafood, pork, or vegetables. Use it as a dry rub. Take it to the grill, into the oven, across the stove, or out to the smoker. “One seasoning... endless flavor!” is the invitation. “Big flavor in every shake” says the same thing in fewer words. The idea is practical: one jar that earns its place by being useful again and again.
A Midlands kitchen connection
Kirby’s Delites is based in Irmo, South Carolina. The Midlands is home for this product, and local tables are where the seasoning has met many of the people who know it by name.
Kirby’s Delites appeared in South Carolina’s 2021 specialty-food catalog and at Richland Library markets in 2023. Those community markets brought the seasoning into a lively mix of farmers, bakers, artists, creators, and local authors. It is a good setting for a product made to be picked up, considered, and taken home. When neighbors ask what the shaker is for, the answer is wonderfully broad: try it on the food you already know how to cook.
Woodham Enterprises LLC is also listed with The Market at Icehouse in Lexington. Market dates and availability can change, so contact us before making a trip. Call 803-465-4812 or email kirbysr55@yahoo.com to ask what is available now, which blend is in your mind, or where to find us next.
Three ways to make dinner yours
Original is a steady place to begin. Its balanced all-purpose flavor belongs with the weeknight foods that already have a place in your routine. Try it with beef or chicken, shake it over vegetables, or use it to bring seafood and pork into the same easy rhythm. The point is not to dictate a single dish. It is to give you a reliable direction and let your own cooking take over.
No Salt gives you another kind of control. Great taste without added salt means you can decide what else belongs in the dish and at the table. It can be the right choice when the rest of the meal already has its own seasoning, or when you want the blend’s herb-and-spice character to lead. Read the label and contact Kirby with ingredient or allergy questions before using any product.
Hot is for the people who want a spicy kick. Add it to a grill night, work it into a dry rub, or bring heat to a familiar vegetable or seafood dish. Hot does not need a complicated story. It is simply another way to choose the mood of the meal.
We make seasoning for cooks who want a straightforward way to bring more character to everyday food.
Keep the shaker moving
Start with the food in front of you. Try Original on beef or chicken when you want a balanced all-purpose direction. Reach for No Salt when you want the blend’s flavor while deciding how much salt belongs in the rest of the dish. Try Hot when the people at the table want a spicy kick. Dust vegetables before roasting, season seafood before cooking, or work the blend into a dry rub for pork. These are cooking ideas to help you get started.
